Didn’t realize Belgium was that diverse - according to the data it is slightly more diverse than the US with a diversity index of 0.55 compared to the US’S diversity index of 0.49. both of which are SIGNIFICANTLY more diverse than France (0.17) and more diverse Spain (0.42) according to this statistic. Many European countries that tut about diversity and varied culture fall pretty low on that list.
Also your point about the US community that speaks Walloon sort of illustrates my point. Almost every other culture in the world has a community or cultural center somewhere inside the US
Do me a favor and look up the Diversity Index of the US, France, and Spain. It’s literally a measure of how diverse a group is. Tell me which scores higher - the highest score would be the ‘most diverse’ by definition.

Well, the US is about 250 years old as a society. How old is your country bud?

They are simply reading the room and making a calculated choice. The public needs to continue putting the pressure on, they are cracking at the local level first.

Never underestimate the Democrats’ ability to get in their own way
As someone who doesn’t like anything curry, I just want to say I have no problem whatsoever with Hinduism, they’re cool by me
I was talking about the hypothetical scenario where you gave it to them and were miffed it didn’t go towards food, so I agree 100% with what you’re saying. Don’t give your money away if you can’t afford to let someone else do what they want with it.
A lot of people don’t mind giving someone something they need without placing conditions on it. But it’s okay to be different.
It’s weird to give someone money and care what they do with it unless you’re expecting them to pay you back someday. You’re giving it away, so it’s expendable to you, and you’ll probably never interact with the person again, so it’s odd to care about the specifics beyond “I hope this helps.”
You’ll never give them enough money to actually change their situation, and that’s not your fault but it’s also not your problem, it’s theirs. If they think they need a cigarette more than a sandwich, who am I to tell them they are wrong? It’s their money now, not mine.
I, for one, am ready to watch my fellow countrymen fall all over themselves to find a way to elect him a 3rd time while hating everything about their lives directly because of his policies. Can’t wait!
You good bro?

“mooooom can we have fascism in Europe? Just a little bit?”
“we have fascism at home.”

Our only hope for saving American democracy is that there are still other Republicans that can think of nothing worse than losing an ounce of power to someone else.

I like to ask them which letter of DEI they think is the worst one and watch them realize they can’t answer without being a bad person.

I feel like he always looks like that. He always looks like he’s guilty and looking for an exit or coming up with the next lie. I can’t imagine living like that

Why does the wall in the bathroom say “it wasn’t me”?

Yore onto something, it’s a strategy that’s never failed in America
Wow who the fuck allowed all of that?? (It was the senate)
