I completely get it. I just try to steady myself and look at things from an objective standpoint. People rightfully have strong negavtive feelings about Elon and I’m not trying to take that away from people because I do too. I’m just trying to provide people with a more objective perspective.

Even if it’s a thing regardless I’m not gonna support deporting someone even if I don’t like them. If they can do this to Elon openly imagine what they will do to average people with no platform. I want Elon gone but not in this way.

I’m kinda mixed on this. On one hand I want Elon tf out of my country. But on the other hand he’s technically a US citizen and this will set the precedent for stripping US citizens of their status and deporting them for being against the regime and it’s plans.

The sad thing is I don’t think it will be the USA putting them to trial. It’ll be other nations that are picking through the rubble or individual governments after the united states balkanizes. Maybe I’m too pessimistic about things but I just don’t see a way we get out of this whole.

I don’t expect sympathy from other countries because I feel like america broadly deserves this as punishment for its apathy and I’m saying this as someone who voted Harris. Also most people in the south voted for this. You wanna go cry for those people then be my guest. As for the small percentage of people who live there who didnt vote for this I feel bad for them and hope they can get out. Ofc. I’m not expecting people to know everything about what’s going on here. Everything these next 4 (?) years is gonna be a uphill battle here. Rn we’re literally seeing policy that could lead to the balkanization of the usa. The ability to file a fair injunction against Trump is officially gone here. Red states will get preference from the courts while blue states will fight constant battles to get anything through. I am interested in repairing our national image but there very well may not be a nation to repair the image of in coming years. People do care it’s just that they don’t care enough to do what actually needs to be done.

Funny thing is this will mostly affect the south. They voted for this shit so they get no sympathy from me.
