Well that’s fair I suppose. The feel is very similar.

Against the Storm (More city building focused)
Northguard (nearly a direct Warcraft clone)
Beyond All Reason (TA clone)
All magnificent.
You would have to expound. I understand that protons are identical to each other, but I’ve never heard that they’re somehow all one particle.
By this logic, my oldest possessions are my protons, which are approximately the same age as the universe.
Person A: it’s bad that China is bad.
Person B: OMFG but USA bad too!
Like, do you actually think this is a real defense for China’s behavior? Or are you just blustering because you understand there is no defense and that hurts your world view?
Probably tweeted years ago.
Yeah Massachusetts hardly surprises. They’ve had a fantastic healthcare program in effect for over a decade. Crazy what you can accomplish when you mass millions of people under a non-profit public entity payer…
https://bridge.simplefin.org/ with this. It costs, but I spot checked some finicky banks, and they’re supported, so I suspect the coverage is quite good.
Discworld.
I feel like this is worth repeating from the Wikipedia article. The suspicions weren’t unwarranted.
" attempted to drink the blood of other patients in the hospital and to eat the corpses in the hospital’s morgue. "
Never said they were special. But they are (generally) regulated securities, unlike pensions. Regulated securities have many layers of protections.
It depends on the assets in your account, but if it’s not something covered by the FDIC, chances are it has coverage from the SEC, FINRA, ERISA, others, or several of these.
Okay… But the 401k holders aren’t being cheated in this instance. They bought an asset that can increase or decrease. It increased for a long time. Then decreased. Then increased again FAR beyond where it was in 2008 just 6 years later. Most investors kept their money in and are doing just fine.
401ks are insured against losing the assets, e.g you own 500 of a particular option, you will always own those 500 unless you sell or that particular asset goes belly up, which is quite rare.
Pensions are a different beast. Closer to the pyramid scheme referenced earlier, and were generally dissolved over the last 40 years by the companies that promised them.
Cite your sources. 401ks are insured against loss. Are you referring to pensions?
Sure, but once you know how it’s very chill.
They figure if they don’t do it, someone else will. And they’re arrogant enough to think that them doing it will be the best scenario.
Hahahahahahahaha… A board more interested in non-profit work vs making more money? Sorry, I think this is way over optimistic.
It’s more for the advertisers Google hosts on YouTube than any values Google is trying to project on their users, I bet. Advertisers don’t want their products advertised next to explicit content.
Google search is a little different in that the content is fairly separated from ads, unlike YouTube where they’re inescapable.
Umm, yes. Breastfeeding doesn’t come to new mothers naturally. It’s a learned skill. And many new mothers have never been taught. When my wife was shown by a lactation consultant at the hospital, they were so busy they only were able to stay for 10m. And this was with a mother and baby having issues.
Easily accessible videos properly demonstrating techniques with a real baby would have been extremely helpful, but at the time exposed breasts for the purposes of breastfeeding weren’t allowed on YT at all, let alone monetized. This has been huge effort by feminist groups for a reason.
I know a person who does AIX consulting with Cobol. She works about 4-8 weeks a year spread between 3 companies and makes enough to raise a family and fund a massive hobby farm. Helps to be in an area with a large fintech presence I imagine.
