The monster from Sidmouth
I saw a thumbnail, noped out of there and closed Lemmy for the day just to be safe. Seriously what the fuck is wrong with people ._.
First it’s the ants, and now rodents aren’t allowed to read? And sapient paper cups? Unbelievable
I started playing it years ago but quit after reaching the Strip - this time I will make sure to actually finish it! The writing is great and the quests are really memorable.
Biblically accurate machine guns
You better deliver on this…
Took me a minute
The ant apocalypse doesn’t sound all that bad to be fair. Lets give them a chance
I like the sound of this! The Starfield coffee article was funny. $7 a month miiiight be a little bit much for me - but I’ll keep an eye on this and if the journalism is decent and they put out a fair number of articles I’ll definitely consider it. I guess I used to spend around that amount on gaming magazines…
There’s a German term for nostalgia for a place you’ve never been, fernweh. Perhaps that has some connection?
Path of the Wind from My Neighbour Totoro gives me a similar feeling.
Have you played any of the series before? MGS2 and 3 are some of the best games ever made, IMO :) Twin Snakes is ok, but I much prefer the original.
Playing through:
Oh I completely misread your earlier comment lol. They sound good though! I’ve heard great things about ULTRAKILL too
Not heard of that one! I can’t seem to find it online - unless is the game called Virtuaverse and Master Boot Record did the music?
Thanks for the suggestion! I actually haven’t bought a torch yet, so I appreciate the recommendation :) The SC21 Pro does look like it would meet my needs
This is a difficult one to answer as most RPGs I can think of have some combination of the stuff that puts you off. Have you tried the Witcher 3 (great story, and the RPG elements are fairly simplified) or Deus Ex: Human Revolution? And if you’ve played Nier Replicant and enjoyed it, I think you’d love Nier Automata.
I don’t think the personal attack is really necessary. I do legitimately want a discussion about this, but people are getting the impression that I want to distract from the point of the post, which I promise you is not my intention. I apologise if anything I’ve said has come across that way. I shall leave things here.
Ok my friend. If I have distracted from the message, that is genuinely not my intention. I’ll leave things here.
Out of interest, what do you mean ‘you don’t read too closely’?
