It sets up a situation where anyone could misrepresent the government and send these types of emails out to harass people.

This is a big part of the Network State or Freedom Cities that are being proposed.

I’m happy every day they stay on their side of the border.

Like everyone down there, they feel it will happen to everyone else, not them.

I don’t think they are defending them. Reddit has changed their behaviour to keep from becoming the focus of the US administration. The same way all those who donated to Trumps inauguration. It’s about survival. That being said, it makes Reddit irrelevant.
