Joining my friends in classes was fun and the mini social network aspect of it, especially during the lockdowns. But in the end the stationary bike aspect works and I dont have to pay to go to a studio somewhere

Wife and I bought a Peloton. It works well, we love it. I’m going to cancel the subscription and just use the damn thing without attending the classes etc like an old school stationary bike.

Not everyone has a convection oven. They are portable convection ovens, not portable ovens.
I have a toaster oven because I don’t need to heat my entire oven and use much more energy and time to heat the entire thing to reheat a slice of pizza.
I use the convection function when I’m working with large amounts but for 1-2 people, the air fryer is much faster.

The Pentagon values the hardware and equipment at the then production costs that are just sitting there where either we pay to safely store and maintain the tanks, etc or safely dispose of expired munitions and ammo.
Or, you know, why not send over this surplus we already bought and paid for, paying to store it or destroy it, to a country defending itself from genocidal invaders and help stop imperialism.
Sure, there is overhead to and costs for all this, but it’s a drop in the bucket to what you think it is.

It’s been four years since I lived there (Bucktown) but I started seeing that somewhat. We always tip pretty decent. Obviously it’s best we avoid apps like these whenever possible but it has its utility still.
They never organize, canvass, campaign… they never put in the work. It’s easy to sit on Twitter all day and disparage the Democratic Party (yes they have many flaws as well) and nothing else.
