1·5 hours agoVery good point. Well for instagram, I only go on there to post on my account and do very little scrolling and that’s it, im off my phone. I’ll be there to just post on my account when I find something suitable. I’ve been pushing myself away from all this media unless its like trustworthy news

2·15 hours agoLike Google unfortunately uses RCS and everyone i know uses RCS because either they have apple or are using Google messages with RCS. So if I was to go to Signal for example, would my chats transfer over or would I have to start over because RCS is not used?

3·22 hours agoCan someone easily merge from Google Messages to Signal? I’ve heard of signal and im also looking for another message alternative; more so for that and insta. Pixelfed is really catching my eye for insta.

3·1 day agoall information currently about this outbreak has that timeline from 7 days - 2weeks and they are all are saying the same information. CDCs data was updated 4 days ago, with data tracking as from July 9, which is almost a week ago. There is a 6 week reporting lag when recording this data, due to symptoms of this Cyclospora appreaching 2 days to more than 2 weeks when somwone gets sick. So no, 2 weeks is not outdated data, it is still relevant until something changes.

2·1 day agoI haven’t gotten deep into self hosting yet, even though i do wanna try that with Jellyfin. For the insta alternative I prefer just posting and interacting with others.

2·1 day agoIt always has to do with cow manure. Cow manure is used as fertilizer, but the problem is not the cows, its the quality control and sanitation techniques. While harvesting, during the packing process within the factories (who knows how well those are kept clean) and then during shipping. Quality control went down dramatically after covid (it wasn’t that great to begin with) and that’s why we have been seeing an increase in food born illnesses.

21·2 days agoYour literally doing the same thing with Graphene. Its a degoogled os system (if you choose it to be that way) same with all of these other OS systems available
Plus, not only those phones are not repairable with the lack of an SD card, but long term support for those phones are heavily questionable now since Google is working on locking out Graphene users. Along with that Im not interested in buying one

2·2 days agoWe just started this year but my mother and I are experimenting with it. Not from seeds but we got the plants of Basil, roma and cherry tomatoes, one jalapeno plant, 2 bell pepper plants, three sweet potato plants and a cucumber (can’t remember the name of it)
We’ve only harvested one good cucumber so far, and a couple of jalapeno peppers along with the bell peppers, but got alot of cherry tomatoes. Omg the cherries taste amazing.

4·2 days agoOnly way to kill it apparently is to boil your produce before eating. Idk man… I dont trust nothing

Cause we got a crazy list of blacklisted phones that these mobile providers refuse to support to decrease competition and diversity. Anything google is heavily pushed in the US market, especially in the workplace and schools. I get the 4g/5g but im more worried about their privacy issues than the bands.
