How about a bubble like the internet? 90% of dotcoms failed in the 90s but the internet is alive and strong today. AI is just a tool, and from my experience an extremely useful one.

Things that are out of the ordinary make it into the headlines. This is a German citizen captured by Hamas during their invasion of Israel. Very out of the ordinary. No need to bring race into it.
That sounds like a terrible legal defense. Yes - I had alcohol in my car, and I was pounding it at the time of the accident. But trust me, I was totally sober when I actually hit that person.
90% of movies are already garbage, or the same recycled plots from older movies. Truly original and intriguing plots are few and far between. How much worse can it get?

What do you mean “those kinds of people”? This is a democracy, everyone (over 18) is entitled to vote, and every vote is valid. Maybe they just needed a friendly reminder or an extra push from someone they look up to.
139·1 year agoHonestly, AI could be the tool that helps him break through and finish his series. It’s ridiculous that he’s suing OpenAI instead of using their tools to help him power through and finally finish what he started almost three decades ago.
1·1 year agoYou don’t even need a hacked version. Just use an older version. Besides, Firefox is open source, I’m sure someone would fork off an adblock allowed version.
My understanding is that the letter he and Mila wrote in defense of Danny was after Danny was found guilty. They were asking for a more lenient sentence.

Agreed that privacy can be a concern. Ideally it will be possible to run LLMs locally in the near future, but we’ll see.
