Well if the that is case, there is no reason to compromise to have a relationship with your mom. Being with your dad is the way better option for you (since he loves you and you love him) and maybe it is the best option for everybody involved.

OP you have given us way little information. How was your parents marriage before this blow up? Were you not close with your mother before? You mention you are close with your father but nothing about mother. Also were you upset or angry by the actions of your father? From the information you have shared (that you are staying with your dad and his mistress), it seems that you are not bothered by what is happening.

Now based on the limited information you have given, your father is clearly the guilty party here. He did something that is morally wrong. Hopefully you understand that. Your mom is very hurt and must feeling betrayed (slightly even by you because you chose to stay with your dad and his mistress). In that emotional state, she is making a unreasonable request to you (to go no contact with your dad). If you want a good relationship with mom, you will have sit down with her and reach an understanding and compromise with her. Maybe you can go to therapy with her like some other commenters suggested. One thing I am sure about is that if you side with father on everything, you will end up estranged from your mom.

Again the latency might be not better for fiber. But the difference is small and the other factors are much better so the experience with fiber is a lot more stable .

The reasons why fiber is better are - better stability because of lower packet loss and interference, better efficiency because of lower attenuation and losses due to diffusion, reflection, and other processes when traveling in a fiber optic cable, and more bandwidth because we can use more favourable frequencies in optic cables (@qjkxbmwvz@startrek.website explains it perfectly in another reply to the parent comment)

This exactly. We have to remember that the stricter moderation policies on several of the big tech social media platforms had got trump banned from them. At that time, trump was incensed with them and had promised retaliation. That was the only reason he was going against the big tech companies.

Now that all big tech has turned away from democrats (probably as punishment for their antitrust lawsuits), we will see a much different perspective from the Trump administration.

Exactly. Lina Khan bought several cases anti trust cases against big tech but they were thrown out by the republican biased courts. Hell republicans even tried to hound and harass khan over the cases she was bringing

Reading this confuses me greatly because republicans, especially Jim Jordan from what I remember, have been harassing and preventing Lina Khan and the FTC from taking action against big corporations.
