  • You can donate blood in 20 minutes. It takes an hour plus to donate plasma

Am I going to sit in a chair for an hour plus without any compensation? Maybe once or twice here and there. But you can donate plasma at least twice a week.

It requires two donations for a single unit. If you donate once and don’t donate the second, then your first donation is unusable. You have to get them to donate twice.

When I was donating plasma, it paid about $75 for each donation. 50 first, 100 for second. The money is pretty good. $300 a month is a lot for a lot of people.

If you didn’t compensate people for plasma donations, a lot wouldn’t do it. They currently need more people to donate.

Plasma “donation” is a good thing.

  • No, because knowing the first child is a boy doesn’t tell you any information about the second child.

    Three doors, Girl Girl Boy

You select a door and Monty opens a door to show a Girl. You had higher odds of picking a girl door to start (2/3). So switching gives you better odds at changing to the door with the Boy because you probably picked a Girl door.

Here the child being a boy doesn’t matter and the other child can be either.

    It’s 50/50 assuming genders are 50/50.

  • Sorry, I don’t know of any good resources off the top of my head

    Agnostic Theist

    Or

    Agnostic Atheist

Are what the majority of people are.

Agnostic makes the most sense because there is no “proof” a God or gods exists or doesn’t exist.

If I walk up to a Theist or Atheist and ask for “proof,” neither side will have any.

When you ask a Gnostic Theist that practices Christianity (but could be any religion). They will say that the Bible is “proof” and that they know that to be the truth. They claim to have the knowledge that their belief is correct.

A Gnostic Atheist doesn’t really exist. Because they would have to believe in some knowledge that is “proof” for their belief that no God or gods could ever exist. There is no knowledge out there that proves that.

It becomes a semantic battle of what do you call the God or gods and that “Anything is possible”

So you can assume anyone that calls themselves Atheist is an Agnostic Atheist.

As an example, no Atheist is going to lay down their life to die on a hill that no God or gods has ever existed. They believe that no God or gods existed, but they realize that the knowledge to prove it doesn’t exist yet.

A Gnostic Theist will die on the hill for what they believe because they truly believe that they have the knowledge to prove it.

Plato has a lot of good stuff to read up about religion

But unless you want to pick a religion and roll with it on faith, agnostic is what it is.

It’s nice to hope for a nice God or gods. That would make you Agnostic Theist.

But if you feel like a God or gods don’t exist then you’d just be Agnostic Atheist.

But to become religious, you’d have to read about all the different ones and see what speaks to you and decide yourself if you want to buy in or not.

  • Hey Arnold 1996

    Dexter’s Lab 1995

    Catdog 1998

    Animaniacs 1993

These are all classic 90’s kid shows

If you were 16 in 1990 I doubt you watched much of these shows

    I was born in 1990

I still remember watching Legends of the Hidden Temple that aired 93 to 95

I grew up on all the 90’s shows

    I’m turning 34

I would definitely consider myself a 90’s kid

Of course if you were born in December of 1999 that’s a lot different

Like my brother was born in 1996 and he didn’t watch a lot of 90’s shows. Not really a 90’s kid

But someone that is 30 today was born in 93 and that’s getting close to the cut off.
