Looking at yesterday’s date…
Unfortunately Youtube is on my “no American services”-list so I won’t watch this source.
The truly surprising thing is that so many people still use Twitter.
It’s beyond me how they can still do so in accordance with their personal values.
I wasn’t even aware that certain retailers can completely bypass rules of EU or country level quality standards. I thought those were enforced already.
The entire world seems to be turning dystopian
Meat grinder. And many russians probably still think it’s for a “good cause” or some other convoluted propaganda narrative.
That they are having their children killed for nothing more than the greed of one psycopath is just disgusting.
This is headed fast towards fascist Germany all over again, but this time english speaking.
I still don’t understand how they are not all stripped of power and money yet. Especially musk who is a civilian
I hope to read more about American companies crying capitalistic tears
The modern world needs to change. Humans are getting more and more depressed, broken, struggling and mentally ill just to get more and more exposed to ads, social pressure and the lot.
Humans are creative family based animals, not machines that need to be forced into doing the same stuff over and over again all their lives.
A 4 day work week is a good start, but what’s really needed is a rather more drastic change to enable humanity as a whole and individually.
Long term view: Basic universal income with robots and AI doing most of the work is in theory doable and such similar ideas.
It’s just that the existing system is not only rusted tight, but also being held alive by those who benefit from the rusted thing and those who fear change.
Ewwww. Almost clicked it
Depends on perspective.
Technically I am safer than most humans. I have a job, a flat, etc. I live in a country with a good social net even if I were to lose my job.
Yet still it feels like standing at the edge of a cliff for either no rational reason or many small convoluted reasons.
Yea, my pyramid is broken.
I check basically all boxes (except the blue one perhaps), yet somehow each segment feels like its gonna collapse any moment. Perpetual anxiety is the result.
Exactly.
Words are cheap. What he does is as basically always the dumbest, most destructive thing he can do in that area.
It’s more about the discussion itself.
Many who use the energy usage argument against AI usage are extremely often unaware how much energy the things use which they use daily… and a lot.
Binge watching streaming videos, gaming, and google searching, YouTube etc. All uses energy and if you calculate usage per person per day per hour average it’s often the casually used stuff that adds up way more
Yea, as someone who uses it daily I know it’s limitations very well exactly because I use it so much.
Ps: playing graphics intense computer games costs more energy.
Who exactly are you talking to?
I’m German so how did I elect that orange idiot exactly?
It turned into my replacement of Google for shallow questions.
I now use leChat which has less intelligence but more crisp unemotional up to date information.
I also use it for most texts as spellcheck or feedback.
Right now I’m using it as a step by step guide to figure out why I am failing to install Ubuntu on wsl to try it out. Not quite working yet though.
I really hope our politicians are not THAT dumb… Hope is what we have
Can someone break down how the supreme court is set again? How many judges are tgere and what is their primary function to rule over?
