We look at the bacon sandwiches flying past our windows.
Maybe someone will rescue him when he is in prison.
Just nope!

Yes it was (reputedly) a GPS weapon that took out the jammer. But it was one that had a back up option for when the GPS was being jammed. It did not just rely on one guidance system. I do not in any way shape or form profess to be an expert on these things. I am going from the opinions of those who are looking closely at stuff like this. Denys Davydov gives his opinion on what was used and why.
None of these missiles are cheap. Each one fired has a command structure behind it to make it an effective use of the hardware. Remembering Ukraine is under pressure from the US regarding good use of the funds being sent over. The rocket mentioned in the video was GMLRS Munitions. There are much more expensive options that could have been used, but they would not have been an effective use of the funds. This missile has an estimated cost of $225k. There is more to the missile than a single guidance system.
You were taking a cheap shot at what you thought was a Russian opinion.
Ok then £4m in the west. This is not a cheap piece of kit. It was a coo for Ukraine to take it out. Comrade. Try to be a bit more informed. There are plenty out there willing to give the information out.
It is mentioned in this video with more detail.
This is exactly how it was done. The missile used can be set to measurement units and only needs GPS occasionally for precision. It was not relying on GPS totally. Ukraine are not going to waste an expensive GPS guided missile when they know it is going to be blocked near the target.
This one cost about £4m to make.
My point was that it may have been made useless. I seem to remember Louis Rossman complaining about it, but I have no idea over which issue. There is no point in having a right to repair act if it can still be abused in some way shape or form by large manufacturers.
I think the problem with this one was that manufacturers can hold all the cards on the cost of buying replacement parts. This would open up the issue of people being gouged. I was hoping that someone could give me more accurate information on the issue.
I am out of the loop on this one. I am probably wrong, but…Wasn’t the bill nullified by the fact apple has the sole right to supply the replacement parts? Or does the bill work as intended where replacement parts can be sourced elsewhere as well as documentation being made available?
The EU has laws around data collection that will make this impossible. Under EU law you can request to have your data deleted and companies have to comply. This stupid idea only works if you allow it or buy into it. So no it will not be the norm in 5+ time. There may be more of it, but there will always be a cop out option.
There will also be markets that will retrofit devices that they want to hold under subscriptions. . It will not be long before someone hacks the crazy Mercedes BS sub just to make your car accelerate faster. Which moron buys that shit anyways.
