Was it sad when people who looked after horses were made obsolete when we began mass producing cars?

This romanization of monotonous jobs is silly, and sounds like it wants to thrust us into poverty for some idealistic fantasy that excludes productivity gains. It also seems unrealistic, you cant trust code written by a programmer that randomly hallucinates and cant reliably check their work or explain what they even did.
Left leaning people live in gated communities of urban sprawl when they get rich enough, just look at SanFrancisco.
Everyone becomes a nimby when their traffic may get worse or a shadow might block their sun, this is human nature irrespective of left/right.
I do buy games off other platforms and import them into Steam all the time.
I’ll admit a 30% fee is egregious these days though, extortionate. I think it should be capped at 10%, then a further smaller cap planned every decade as technology improves.
Mass immigration to debase wages as rents skyrocket is actually very progressive, if you don’t think so you’re probably just a racist. Corporations were heavily lobbying for it so it must be good.
