Yeah, I just wrote another comment and noticed that the government probably has addresses because the IRS needs those to function.
I disagree with this approach without even touching the morality aspect.
There should be no way to lose your voting rights once you are of age and a citizen of the US for the very simple reason of limiting the bureaucratic overhead of elections. If every citizen above the age of 18 can vote, you can just completely remove the ridiculous notion of “voter registration”.
Just register everyone based on their legal address (which the government should have anyway because taxes). Just like a real democracy.
Hey, you’re talking to the country that has you actively apply to get a right to vote. The US is seemingly incapable of keeping track of their own citizens.
Is it feasible to just sync the database with Nextcloud (I.e. is the database just a bunch of files)?
The default is very obviously “no”.
If someone does not agree to the new terms, they did not agree to the new terms.
I can’t send you a new set of terms for reading my comments and just assume you forfeit your firstborn child to me if you don’t answer within 10 minutes.
I mean, that’s not exactly news. Windows 10 came out in 2015. It will stop receiving updates after 10 years just like every Windows version has.
That graph in the thumbnail is absolutely terrible. Why is ±stddev displayed using different sized dots. Did they put the map for people who don’t know where Italy is? What is the x axis supposed to be? Production of what?
I mean, I’m sure it’s explained in the article, but graphs should have a minimum amount of self-explanation.
OP actually gave them doors and actual buildings. I mostly build holding pens that have planks for the ceiling and floors so I can drop in and out.
I’m using a JBL flip which I just leave outside the shower on a shelf. Waterproof enough that I can adjust the volume by just reaching past the curtain.
And you can play one, too: https://evilhat.com/product/thirsty-sword-lesbians/
To be fair, German (and other languages) borrowing from Italian is a whole can of worms, but you’re right: Borrowed words don’t need to follow all the declination or conjugation roles from their original language.

A quick search does not yield a single site backing up your claim. Do you have a source?
To be fair: if your HR department can link your Lemmy posts to you, they are insanely bored and presumably over funded.
If the proof requires the miner fisher to post a picture of themselves holding the catch, it can double as an NFT!
Besides simple solutions, they also offer simple culprits for everything that is bad, where the default is usually some form of immigrant. But green/left activists are also a well-received target. Or the EU.
Wait what? People can not hang pictures without their landlord’s permission in other countries?
That seems like a lot of effort compared to just complaining to the government that there’s not enough tourists every year to get subsidized or bailed out.
SVP currently holds 25% of the seats in the federal council of Switzerland. Not exactly what I’d call Nazi-free.
