I’m still open to giving the Immich licensing model a chance.
I have a feeling they are going to retroactively shorten the “lifetime” of my license.
Shocking they had one to begin with…
Just to be clear, I live in continental Europe and not Iceland.
As other have pointed out, Iceland very much depends on both tourism and their national airline IcelandAir. People in those sectors will certainly be affected much worse than me.
I don’t deny being selfish but my comment was just trying to point out one of the main concerns, in a cheeky way.
Well, as a North Sea dwelling individual, I would be one of those millions breathing the ash clouds and being affected. Not really sure what you know about Icelandic volcanos but thankfully deaths are rare and disruptions to air travel are typically the main consideration:

But I appreciate the kind words…
It would be disastrous for my vacation if Europe gets ashed and my flight cancelled😞
I don’t feel like I know what I’m doing but I do feel like an adult. The two are a bit separate in my head.
Actually kinda surprised that chromecast doesn’t have ads, at least the model we have.
We have a dumb projector with features such as “select source”.
I think it’s in mastodon and not lemmy.
For my bank, instant is free but requires the receiver to also have instant sepa support.
Maybe I’m missing something here, don’t we already have this UI from our banking apps?
Doesn’t sound like anything that hasn’t already been leaked elsewhere, boring 🥱
Blacklights are UV(A) lights.
I remember someone raising a similar idea before:
I don’t know about Adobe but I think it’s true for some software.
My previous employer (~30 person company) got in trouble for a Fusion360 file that was sent to a customer after being edited by an intern’s pirated copy. Employees and interns typically used a different licensed CAD software.
I think the pirated file being opened at a larger company tipped them off, but I don’t know how they ultimately tracked us down.
That being said, I personally wouldn’t want the stress of using pirated software, let alone pirated assets in a professional setting.
In my experience, there is not enough proper bike parking in Dutch cities to avoid “wild parking”. A space in a bike rack will almost always be preferred to a random pole.
Well, moving from governing to opposition is a pretty clear loss of control.
What good a largely neolib coalition with a still powerful opposition will do is another question…
Oh no! Anyways…
