Hi there, I’m the one who created the origami community on feddit.de :) After the instance shut down, I reopened another community on feddit.org (https://feddit.org/c/origami), but afterwards I didn’t have much time to fold something and so I unfortunately neglected the community (that’s why there are only a few post). If you want to fold something else, however, feel free to post something over there! Maybe I’ll also fold something small to get the ball rolling again soon, who knows :)

Hey, that’s the origami community I created a while ago (the second one after feddit.de shut down), thanks for the shout-out!
To be honest, I kind of neglected the community due to a lack of time and motivation, but maybe I’ll try folding something again to post over there, so thank you for the reminder!

Bready@lemmy.world•Second tiny bread, orange for scale as I couldn't find a bananaEnglish
3·1 year agoThe German word for bun is “Brötchen”, a diminutive of “Brot” (bread), so we literally call a bun a “tiny bread”.
In addition, the German language does not really differentiate between turtles and tortoises: both are called “shield toads”, but if you want to be more specific, you can say “water shield toads” or “land shield toads”, respectively.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What characterises the musical style of the 2020s, 2010s and 2000s?
6·2 years agoThat was also roughly the time when seemingly every pop song that was played in the radio had to have a drop in the middle of the track

I really miss Tom Scott
