Love the thorough report. I also have an Ole reliable from circa 2008. Never fails, slow as balls.

As someone who slept on enterprise for a long time, 100% agree. Everytime I see antennae I know I’m about to be in for a good time, and I’m just a stupid pink skin.
It’s honestly better that you don’t lol. I can even tell you where that guy lives.
He married that hottie and they have a kid now. Man I went a little too deep on that one. Sorry for creepin yall.
I had the same thought. Went to try to find more of them. I think gomez just wasn’t his best look but she is a smokeshow for sure.
I didn’t know this would be a guessing game. What is Pakistan?
How exactly did they pull that off? And with walkie-talkies too. There’s no way you can do that with normal RF. The only thing I can figure is they had to intercept the devices and tamper with them in some way.
The version of this I’ve heard is “the other muffin says ‘Holy shit a talking muffin!’”
I see what you did there
🤣🤣🤣
Oh dude but so many great and useful applications came out of blockchain that are completely unrelated to crypto… /s
So even tho it’s bullshit sentence I took away 2 things: 1) getting a guilty plea deal outweighed the risk of no conviction in this case, which leads to 2) he has another pending trial for a different case, and now we have established a guilty pattern of behavior. So hopefully they throw the book at him for that one and send him to prison where he will meet a lot of nice people that like him a lot…
Oh for sure. Actually the thread mesh network that a lot of matter capable devices use is based on zigbee. It’s like zigbee mesh + ipv6
Apple Home and Google home are matter controllers. So yes. Direct benefit still for those home users is you can mix and match OEM products (like light bulbs) and not need to have a seperate app/acct/hub/bridge/controller whatever for those products. If you don’t want to go the DIY route.
So there are newer protocols under an IoT standard called “matter” that solve a lot of these problems. You can manage them with a local controller like home assistant. No need to create accounts or ship data out to a public cloud. Private, local device adoption and mgmt. I’ve been an early adopter and there have been some challenges but it’s gotten a lot better recently.
I saw a post recently where someone gamified improving OSM. Almost like a Niantic game. I’ll try to find the app…
Edit: this was it https://streetcomplete.app/
As someone that went initially got back into piracy for the “no you just raised your prices for this one service I only use for this one show anyway, I’ll download it instead” reason. I have significantly increased my piracy because it’s honestly a much better user experience. For me to easily set sonarr/radarr to grab what I want and have a beautiful and customizable UI/UX like jellyfin to consume that content, which works on all my devices. Fucking Hulu, Disney, Amazon, peacock, max all suck in comparison from a pure UX perspective
Can’t repost with typos/bad grammar. That’s a rule.
