I somehow missed the announcement that Oneplus is closing down altogether. I’m on my third phone from them, I was already thinking about going to Nothing or Motorola next but it still feels weird to no not have 1+ as an option any more. I think Oppo should have just made global versions at a certain point, the 1+ eventually felt like Oppo global anyway.

Where is the fucking battery

These are low level demons

I keep looking at the tablet and I am also curious if anybody has experience.

This is my experience as well. Moving the dac away from the radios and cpu, even just a bit, really helps. And the usb dacs are usually better to begin with. The same thing applies to computers, higher end audio for computers the first recommendation is to move the audio gear outside of the case. Audio interfaces for musicians are almost never inside a desktop case either, its usb or thunderbolt these days. And when 90% of the market is using Bluetooth headphones I think not having an audio jack built in is that big of a deal in 2026.

Saturn bomberman goes up to 10!

It’s pretty close to a OLKB Preonic other than the arrow keys.

I actually believe that. Seems like most Linux users are pretty anti Canonical and it’s also the default distro for WSL2. I still like it for server use for enterprise support and whatnot, but I also don’t really love the desktop experience they are currently shipping and don’t use it on any gui machines currently. I’m not in love with snaps, if they opened up the store early on I might have been a believer but at this point it just feels like a land grab.

Be the change you wish to see in the world. Doesn’t even have to be trees to start, get a mix of native wild flower seeds and a camelback sort of thing. Go out there and return the field to nature, then their arguments will look even more silly. Guerilla Gardening!

There was a Foss diy vacbot posted somewhere not too long ago if that is up your alley.

I grew up with a PC so it always seemed normal to me, I guess I was lucky that way. I’m honestly surprised that Sony didn’t announce this at the launch of the ps5. Console always seemed nerfed to me.

Maybe it’s the alcohol but I kinda snort laughed at this

20k-140k SHU is a big range, not the hottest around but it might be a bit like gambling! Habanero is around 150k so in the same ballpark.

Very interesting! Thanks!

Sure, but what’s with the hats?

My gramps had the exact same calendar, only it was in his carpentry barn and dilapidated to unusable state

I started learning some qt and python and apparently it’s pronounced cute.

I fucking hope so
