• NRSV(UE) is the gold standard nowadays.
• Leather cover? Why? What’s the point?
• The Founding Documents to the United States do not belong in a Bible. Not everything has to be tarnished with crass “Patriotic” grift.
• Just the Bill of Rights? The Amendments to the Constitution are legally part of the Constitution. What are they not included? Is there something in those Amendments they don’t feel is appropriate?
• This Bible has consistent poor reviews on Youtube. A number of Bible collectors, theologians, pastors, etc have panned this book for being cheaply and poorly made. It has poor print quality, it’s pages stick together, are thin, and rip easy.

It should be obvious to anyone this is an ideological grift and it is criminal graft too. These criminals need to be thrown in prison for this.

I genuinely don’t know how to fix this one. It just started doing that one day and it doesn’t matter if i use or dash-to-dock, dash-to-panel, etc. The spacebar extension wants to plop it right before the menu. It’s mildly infuriating. I really, really wish Gnome would just let us configure the panels more similar to Plasma or Latte-Dock. I don’t want to switch to KDE Plasma because I don’t like most QT apps and honestly Breeze doesn’t look good as libadwaita. Custom themes are super inconsistent in Plasma and it drives me a bit nuts. Tho, I heard the KDE team proposed a solution that might make things better in the next couple versions.

If I ended up on Plasma I’d have to exclude the majority of KDEs and add their Gnome equivalents XD

Thats because back then you got a paid lunch and in the 1990s companies stopped offering that and said it was a boon to workers because “you can leave the property for lunch” and other excuses like “liability” and such.

Now workers have to stay an extra hour and dont get paid for that time.

If I see a sign in a business whining about workers or people not wanting to work, I will straight up leave and go somewhere else. Tells me everything I need to know about how the owner treats their workers.

People keep saying this but I’ve been around since Reagan and with every election cycle things get noticeably worse. The Democrats never keep their promises and continue to cede ground. The Republicans continue ramping up their antics. People said they had enough in 88, in 92, in 96, in 2000, etc etc.

Every time the American people fell for whatever was being peddled in front of them. As someone who is almost 40, I can tell you the only time I ever thought there might be positive change and people standing up for themselves and their communities at large was during the 2020 protests and pandemic. Surely, I thought this would be the beginning of something new.

But the media began to ignore things, social media algos quickly adjusted to bury protests and boost disinfo actors. Now I have to wonder just how much worse things will get if this is what we put up with. What will it take to get people to fight for their rights. If we wait until the government makes us (LGBTQ, etc) illegal it will be too late to act.

I honestly doubt most people will be moved to do anything to defend our rights, they don’t even care about their own until the police show up for them.

The people that vote for the GOP would probably not give two shits about the kompromat. Were talking about a party of criminals, rapists, pedophiles, crooks, grifters, grafters, racketeers, and every other thing you can think of. If anything, their voters love it. They see hypocrisy as a display of power—a flex. It’s a manner of “owning the libs.” The only thing the kompromat would do is serve to embarrass and shame, assuming they still have any sense if shame. And if they have no shame, it is to their benefit to embrace and show it off.

We are dealing with a party that revels in wickedness. The only thing more powerful than kompromat is the words of the leader, the Orange Menace himself. If Donald Trump wanted to burn someone he’d just say something and his sycophants would believe it mostly without question.
