There was a “ultra private” messaging app that was actually created by a US state agency to catch the shady people who would desire to use an app promising absolute privacy. Operation “Trojan Shield”.
The FBI created a company called ANOM and sold a “de-Googled ultra private smartphone” and a messaging app that “encrypts everything” when actually the device and the app logged the absolute shit out of the users, catching all sorts of criminal activity.
I have no proof, but I do have a small list of companies I actually suspect of pulling a similar stunt… perhaps not necessarily attached to the FBI or any other agency, but something about their marketing and business model screams “fishing for people who have something to hide”
I already dislike ads in general, but ads on things I pay for, be it physical goods or digital services, is crossing a line I find unacceptable.
I rooted my LG C1 and blocked system updates. I use a homebrew channel to download external packages.
Good luck pushing this crapware on me.

I suggest you actually read the documentation about the things you link. As explained, the “open” Nvidia drivers are actually a tiny open component around a proprietary closed blob that actually drives the GPU.
A super important nuclear structure related to calcium mobilization was only discovered a few years ago. It will take years before it ever appears in bachelor’s textbooks, let alone high school material. Cellular biology is far for complete, and biology as a whole is still completely filled with open questions.
We do suffer a lot with a lack of funding though. If your research isn’t immediately important for a medication, good luck working with a far from optimal budget.

I’m fairly convinced posts like this are sponsored by these platforms to trick young women into joining, as they need an endless supply of new “content” when people get bored of the popular models. That fetish site “Feet Finder” did that a lot, they sponsored tens of thousands of TikTok creators to pretend they got rich selling their feet pictures, when in reality, the people joining the platform were never paid.
Glad I’m not the only.
Sure it’s just a joke, but it does feed into this distorted rhetoric that giving money to homeless people will just lead to the money being misused rather than survival, which is absurd.
