There is demand though, it’s just not as high. They could make a smaller number of them just to capture the people who want it. Same goes for all the other features that are hard to find on a phone anymore. I think a lot of people are confusing “lack of demand” for “the features they want aren’t available so they just buy whatever the corporations are jamming down their throat when they need a new phone”. I for one haven’t purchased a new phone since 2016 because there’s no option that has more features than my current one. If it were to break I would be forced to buy a new shittier phone that can’t do everything I want.

I don’t understand the obsession with thinness. My phone has a case on it and already is like 2x as thick as a current phone and it’s fine. If anything it makes it easier to hold on to and type on. While I don’t care about having a physical keyboard, there’s a lot of other stuff they could do if they didn’t care so much about making it as thin as possible.

Most of the dudes I know who aren’t currently married just don’t expect to have a relationship at all at this point in their lives (mostly middle age IT guys). The consensus is online dating isn’t worth it to even bother with and it’s hard AF to meet anyone in the real world so they focus on their hobbies and socialize with their bros instead. There’s no animosity towards women and there are a few women that come out with us when we go to the bar but nobody is pursuing romance.

  • They offer a check on healthcare providers that want to over -treat and -prescribe to charge more money, or doctors that go rogue with whacky ideas. Since the general population doesn’t know much about medicine, doctors would be able to prescribe all sorts of illegitimate treatments if we didn’t have a body making sure that their recommendations were legit.

My dad can’t get a medication that actually resolves one of his health problems because it’s not on whatever list of medications his insurance company has for that issue. Even though his doctor prescribed it and it worked up until he got a new insurance. Now he has to use some other medication that barely helps. Insurance companies are bullshit. Doctors should be reviewing what other doctors are doing. Not some office peon who probably gets a bonus for rejecting claims.

  • Yes, my opinion on that is consistent with my previously stated opinion that people should not be listening to celebrities in regards to politics. The same goes for Reagan. Neither of those fuckers should have ever been taken into account but because morons just believe whatever the TV tells them too here we are. Just because the celebrity in question happens to be supporting our side this time doesn’t make it a good thing.
