the effect is the same?

without reading i’m going to assume it’s either dropping porn mags on the ground or clapping their dummy thicc asscheeks
ever seen one of those $200k stratasys “polyjet” resin 3d printers for medlabs? i bet you they’re like inkjets cubed to service, minimum. if that tech ever makes it to consumers we’ll be doomed.
dishwasher. it uses way less water than even filling the sink once. it obviously uses more electricity than doing it by hand though. you gotta think about the value of the time saved as well.

2001 a space odyssey’s effects are completely practical, which make sense since it came out before the first moon landing. it’s all physical models and cut-out photographs being moved in stop-motion, or huge rotating sets to simulate centrifugal gravity, or colored film being spun over a set of rollers.
personally i think it’s worth it to watch it for the effects alone, which is just as well because its influence is such that it has been eclipsed story-wise by things that came after it and so feels a bit shallow.

sweden also ran one of those between 2013 and 2020. they found that it wasn’t cost-effective either, and at the time they discontinued the experiment i was paying €0.02/kWh. so i guess there are other problems than the electricity cost.

could even make the electric truck road separate from the normal road, for safety.

persimmon to do what exactly?
since the pH scale is logarithmic-1 you’d need to be veeeery particular about the amount of lemon. i think you need 100l water to neutralize 1ml lemon juice
the game would have been better if they took the combat out entirely, save for some one-on-one fights. it’s a shame that they’re done with the series, it was finally approaching “playable indy film” territory.
the achievement means they knew, and put the monster closet shit in anyway.
don’t make me tap the sign
pointing out that you’re doing a thing does not qualify as parody of that thing
i think so. i don’t really have a problem with that. as the narrator says in the stanley parable, what kind of story has the main character die halfway through
uncharted is the worst for this because the fights add basically nothing. the games are great humourous adventure serials occasionally broken up by obligatory murderous rampages. after my first playthrough of uncharted 2 it showed that i had done over 200 headshots alone. friend of mine had something like 1500.

yeah but nobody wanted google glass after it was release.
you can build systems that allow freely chatting but will always stay in character. it just requires making your own training data, and training your own model. which nobody seems willing to do. mostly because it’s not feasible without bethesda-levels of dialogue.
