Fair, but this is kind of a “not all men!!” thing to point out. The vast majority of sex workers are women, the vast majority of people being victims to sex trafficking are women. The vast majority of people paying for sex are men. Just face it.

So, to clarify. Sweden has for a very long time a system where buying sex is illegal but selling sex is legal. This is to make sure the man buying is considered criminal and the woman selling a victim. This new ban is just a way to keep it that way online as well.

What becomes illegal is paying for custom personalized performances (because a man can say “I’ll give you $1000 if you stick this painful thing up your ass”, which can be a difficult request to deny if you are poor), but selling prerecorded stuff will not be banned.

Plural you (“y’all”, basically) used to be “i”, but because of an archaic inflection rule, there were often an “n” at the end of a word before “i” (like, “när kommen i?”; “when are y’all coming?”). Because of this, “i” eventually turned into “ni” since the n of the previous word merged with i.

If the US wants to be involved or not is up to you guys, that’s fair. It’s our cause, first and foremost. But what Trump is doing now is not “not getting involved”. He is actively sabotaging and siding with Russia. I’d be fine if he just shut up and minded his own business, but he is very much involved right now and even says Europe should not take part in negotiations. So on the one hand, he says it’s Europe’s cause, but on the other, he acts like it’s his his own cause. It’s once again Trump being Trump.

Nuclear war is exactly what Trump is risking right now. Russia will go to war again if Trump gives them “peace”. Only next time, they will attack a NATO country.

Because Russia did not want peace. “Why are Russia interested in a peace deal now then?”, you might ask. Because Trump is not going to negotiate them a peace “deal”. He is going to give them victory.

Poor choice of words by me, but it was exactly my point. Of course they are fighting for themselves, but the US giving Ukraine weapons is the US fighting Russia without risking any of their own troops. It couldn’t get cheaper than this to fight Russia.

You realize how expensive it would have been if the US would have fought a war against Russia themselves? Right now, Ukraine is defeating one of the top enemies of the US for the US.
