That doesn’t exist in the mobile nightly.
But honestly that’s no problem and I hadn’t noticed because I just pin things to the new tab window.
Read the headline and thought “there’s a catch…”
Finally got around to reading the post and Microsoft is very politely saying “we’ve completed stealing their shit now. Don’t know why anyone would want it, use ours now. You can have it though.”
Thanks I guess? I’m glad it’s out of their hands now and with an open source group that cares and can make a difference.
You think it’ll take that long? Seems optimistic.
I think you got my point without getting my point.
Bidens Trump’s kryptonite. He can’t stop talking about the guy. This donald dump stuff is perfect. He needs to stay on the trail and keep Trump off message campaigning against the wrong candidate.
Misread the summary to say data driven delusions and that seems accurate.
Being as this is very similar to the apple epic legal fight that epic lost earlier this year, I doubt apple will make a deal. My understanding is that patreon can cave, choose to pay 27% commission, or make their own store.
Though skimming the news around epic’s attempts to make a store, you “can” make a store in compliance with EU and UK laws, but apple made it kinda impossible to actually do and epic is fighting it in court again?
So patreon seems to have read the lay of things and said I guess we just have to make the best of a shitty situation and communicate everything to try to limit the pain.
It’s almost like apple feels like they have the power to do whatever they want because they’ve created a market where they don’t have competition…
It was the baseline so… Yes?
The feature completion was defined as running most normal applications and by the people working on Wayland not me some random guy on the Internet.
Because no one is going to use Wayland, if they can’t… use it
That’s technically true but not the whole picture since it was missing huge (some would say basic) features I wouldn’t say it was really “released”
It was quite a while after that they called it and it’s libraries feature of complete. With wm DE integration and multiple monitors coming a while after that, it’s only been in the last maybe 5 years it was really usable? A solid option for a lot of people for maybe half that?
That makes it pretty dang new.
Textualism at it’s finest
Not sure how support doesn’t fall under “preserve, protect and defend” in every way that’s meaningful
Yeah I mean it’s taking 500G of my terrabyte ssd. What else was I going to use that for? Installing games off steam? Two node modules folders?
I’d be more convinced if it wasn’t the 4th time they were going to lose their license. Also, they agreed to stop speeding if he cooked dinner more but that was a lie and immediately started again but expected him to keep cooking. Also …
Maybe updated because it currently cites this article about a shareholder letter. https://www.inverse.com/article/52189-tim-cook-says-apple-faces-2-key-problems-in-surprising-shareholder-letter
Its implication right after this about them using the repair shop to boost sales however is unsupported speculation. A reasonable guess based on what we see from people like Rossman but still unsupported by this piece.
I’m confused. Did I miss understand your wording?
100 - 77 = 23; 23% < 33%
77 - 10 = 67 point lead
Admittedly the way we talk about a “point lead” is confusing and it’s always useful to look at what the real numbers are and what they actually mean.
