Metric weights for things like meat is basically always expressed in grams here in the EU. Using fractions is pretty pointless.

The commercials should be illegal to begin with. My partner is from the EU and when we were back in the US she was horrified by the amount of pharma marketing everywhere.
Yeah he wasn’t my first choice but I was fine voting for him and his administration has definitely beat expectations. Pretty nice what having capable people in your administration can do for your presidency. Not just scandal after scandal and departure after departure like the previous shitshow.
Yeah I hadn’t had their food in a while and we ended up going to one in Lisbon earlier this year. I was really surprised at how small the servings had gotten for what they’re charging. I don’t really understand why anybody would go there at this point. There’s a lot of decent food out there for less money.
I think the expectations of consumers for a dine in experience is just a lot higher these days than McDonalds is interested or equipped to compete with and they’re also in the process of pivoting towards a post-automation future.
This to me sounds like a company that is realigning their strategy to fit the market segment they think they have the best chance of capitalizing on, which is apparently faceless late stage capitalism burgers.
Also, does everyone have to have a shitty time because you did?
Literally putting words in my mouth.
I’m in my late 30s. Regardless that’s a bit of a leap on your part to suggest that sharing my experience is invalidating others. It might be somewhat invalidating the narrative the article is putting forward however, but that’s probably warranted.
Point is that this has been a problem for a long time. Is it worse now? Sure, rents are even more insane than when I was growing up and pay still sucks. But needing room mates was a thing for me and the majority of my friends growing up.
This isn’t a new problem like the article seems to suggest. Also historically there’s a greater precedent for people living in shared spaces than not, if we’re being fair.
I mean… I couldn’t afford my own apartment until I was in my late 20s and all the places I lived in until my 30s were shitholes.
Jesus christ
Fun read and a pretty crazy story. Hard to fathom what it’s really like to go through that.
When it gets down to it we are good, close neighbours with very similar cultures.
Same with the Netherlands and Belgium (well at least Flanders anyway)
Almost definitely being egged on by Russia to further distract the international community (and particularly the US) away from Ukraine.
Sure there’s a solid chunk of the population who doesn’t give a shit and doesn’t believe there’s a problem to begin with.
But a lot of people do give a shit but are realistically powerless to effect change. Turning all your lights off and walking to work isn’t going to change shit. It’s big business that is mainly at fault here. They’ve just spent years brainwashing everyone to think that if we don’t leave the water running while brushing our teeth it’s magically gonna solve all our problems.
So what are people who can’t make an actual dent in the problem to do with a weekly “ANOTHER TIPPING POINT HAS BEEN REACHED” sort of article? It’s basically noise now.
Not necessarily. There’s a lot of big moves happening now that would have been a lot more effective decades ago.
They’ve spent so much time poisoning the discourse and bribing politicians between then and now. So we’re playing catch up and we’re doing it against a lot of interference from bought off politicians.
Had they not been lobbying and bribing and hiding research and publishing phony studies since at least the 70s, things might be a lot different.
I don’t even know why they bother publishing the same fucking articles every week. At this point people are numb to the information.
Maybe instead he’ll just die while shitting on his gold toilet some time next year. Would be kinda nice.
Yeah the fact that he doesn’t have a lawful reelection to consider is concerning. Also concerning when you think about the fact that he clearly thinks being the president shields him from a lot of legal ramifications.
So he doesn’t have to temper his behavior to get reelected in any way. He has a shitload of grudges. Pursuing those grudges would likely be various shades of illegal. He thinks staying in office will protect him from the consequences of his actions. That is a recipe for a constitutional crisis if I ever saw one.
True Pianos is a really solid piano VST by the way. It’s been years since I used it, but it was really good back when I was dabbling with this stuff.
Found this data for people who got the booster. Basic takeaway is that rates for the booster are low in general, but especially so for the south and a good chuck of flyover country.
I would guess then that we’re gonna see infections spike in southern states come January. By then it will be cold and Christmas and New Years will have happened.

Edit: found a map covering more than just boosters. Same apparent trend overall as the booster map.

I think the big problem is the duration of copyright. That it’s so much longer than patents is pretty hard to logically defend.
Between stirring up shit in Gaza, bribing Republicans to obstruct funding, and now the shit down in Venezuela… you gotta hand it to Russia. Those dickheads really know how to distract and obstruct.
