I didn’t like that ☹️
I didn’t like that ☹️
I’ve been staring at it for a minute now but it’s still not clicking for me. I guess I’m not racist?
I’m a big fan of Emily the Engineer. She’s a similar chaotic energy as early Michael Reeves but less directly focused on “offensive ideas” or “things to hurt your friends”. The creativity behind both the projects and the videos is top notch.
My first move would probably be to blow my brains out
You’re having an important argument with someone and you’re resorting to Reddit for an answer
You think having updoots on a Reddit thread matters in a real life argument
You want to manipulate an already trashy and biased mediation tool by artificially inflating your position
You openly ask for help in doing this with seemingly zero self awareness
If this is real (and I hope to God it’s just a shitpost) it’s insanely pathetic and abusive. You should not be dating.
Well I always wake up where I’m meant to be. When that stops happening I’ll stop doing it.
Sorry! The name of the podcast on Spotify is simply, “reading and explaining the Silmarillion”.
Sorry, Bilbo. The name of the podcast on Spotify is simply, “reading and explaining the Silmarillion”.
There’s a podcast done by a well known Tolkien nerd in which he reads The Silmarillion and explains it along the way. I’ve been slowly making my way through it while driving to work and falling asleep.
“is anyone not from Reddit?”
“Me, I’m from Reddit”
?
I find that shaking my hands frustratedly while repeating the placeholder word at a higher frequency helps people understand what I’m trying to say to talk to me later
My imaginary friend was very tiny, and I’d imagine him cartoonishly jumping around whatever environment I was in so he could talk to me on my level. I used to hide out in the bathroom a lot, so oftentimes he’d be jumping on top of the toilet paper roll, then scampering up to the counter so we could have a proper conversation. If I was in the car, he’d sit on the edge of the window.
The best way I could describe him looking back would be like the vault boy from fallout. Not the same clothes or look, but just that cartoony style. I probably imagined him to be a little darker and with different colored hair.
In my case, I was awkward-dancing by myself while everyone else was just showing up, then I made a comment about how infrequently I ate and was asked if I was taking stimulants.
The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell. Neither of these statements make it impossible for someone to regularly enjoy alcohol or cannabis without hurting people.
I saw your other comment and wondered what the games must be. What’s the other one?
Start in Australia, got it
I was at a party just yesterday (very unlike me) that was mostly people I don’t know and within the first hour someone asked me if I was on ADHD medication.
I mean I’m not on medication which is probably how I got pinned so quickly but I still found it funny that in a crowd of people that has never met me I apparently still scream TISM.
I think you replied to the wrong comment. Most music instructors don’t do those, haha
Thank you for sharing this 🙏🏽 good read.
But like… not always. Wall adapters (at least US ones) can be plugged in upside down, so if that’s upside down the holes face down. I have a 3d printer who’s motherboard is mounted on the top of the chassis, flipping the USB port so that it’s “upside down”. A lot of cheap dual-USB chargers that have the two USB ports right next to each other have them mirrored, so one faces up and the other faces down.
Granted, I’ve always found the “argh USB!!!” frustration to be more a meme than anything; when I’m plugging in a USB device, I likely know what orientation the male side is (flash drives and the like are usually oriented the same way), and it takes half a second of paying attention when going to plug it in to look at the female port to see what direction it’s meant to go in.
