Probably still have some safety if you’re using two-factor, or have a master key in addition to a password (e.g. 1Password).

That’s just a great picture of a cat. I don’t usually frequent these posts, but that is a fantastic shot (and cute cat.
Maybe not all the features, but basic scanning should work with just a driver. I have a Brother Multi-function that works on Mac OS without Brother software. I think I recall Windows having a scanner interface built-in.
Wait, you have to have an app to print? On Windows? Can’t you just install the driver and print using the Windows print interface? I understand that they have software that might have extra features, but basic printing should only require a driver, at most.
I hear if you need a supercharger, they make the best from what I hear, but otherwise agreed.
| A post last month in a Cybertruck Facebook group suggested that the vehicle is likely to cost around $99,000
When it was announced, I was almost on the fence about this being a viable product, but given all of the recent rumors and news regarding the Cybertruck, it seems like a disaster. There’s no way I would buy this, but especially no way at that cost.
That’s crazy, but believable. I have a pair of Bose 700’s kicking around that one of my kids uses, but they don’t have the app. I wonder how they can potentially consent for data collection without breaking any data collection laws.
Where else are they going to get their metrics?
Huh. A google service that keeps working, even after it’s supposed to. That’s new.
They Don’t want to register with the government.
Let them keep thinking that this is the way to stay “off the grid” from the government.
This predates cell phones. I believe there was a government wiretapping program for many non-criminal citizens back in the 80’s. The program was shelved publicly when it became public knowledge, but continued in the background under different names and different areas of government since. I don’t have a source offhand, but there was a lot of stuff that came to light about this around the time Edward Snowden blew the whistle. The Patriot Act just made a lot of this more legal, and was even expanded under Obama. I don’t believe Trump or Biden have done anything to improve the situation for citizens since.
Maybe I’m just getting too old, but what is the logo on the top right in the third panel?
What happens if the pregnancies were, say, 5 months apart? What kind of complications would there be?
Haha, what even is this timeline?
They wouldn’t listen to him, and would call Mr. Rogers woke trash. The current Republican Party and its supporters are a hot mess.
The article has the who, what, when, where, but not the ever important why.
Florida House Republican Ryler Sirois introduced…
Ah. Assuming lab grown meat is somehow “woke”?
Does FL have a large cattle market that I am unaware of? That’s the only reason I can think to ban lab-grown meat. It’s a win for almost every other conceivable stakeholder.
I still have an Apple 5s (I think) around the house that still “works”, but I wouldn’t call it supported. It does still receive security patches though, so that’s something I guess.
OnHub was the predecessor to Google WiFi. Google touted the OnHub as a “future-proof” router, with 802.15 Zigbee and bluetooth onboard. They indicated that they would enable these features at some point in the products life. Google WiFi came out around 12 months after OnHub, and OnHub suddenly stopped receiving feature updates after that. Google continued with security patches, but that was about all I could recall getting. I’d be curious what other OnHub owners think about their purchase long-term. It certainly didn’t feel supported after WiFi was released. I guess that goes back to my quality vs. quantity of support. It’s great that they continued to push security updates for years later. It’s the least they could to after they shafted everyone that purchased one of these.
Long-term history matters when it comes to establishing a trend in a company’s behavior.
It takes an extra 16 months of work or so, but you can technically get a GUI working in Gentoo.

He’s definitely a delusional psycho, but it turns out that isn’t a dealbreaker for today’s Republican party.
