I use Debian btw
I’ve been keeping Windows around on a VM because of Excel, but lately, I’ve been using Calc to build my spreadsheets more often than booting my whole VM to run one program.
Now, I’m thinking of deleting the VM on my PC. I’m going back to school to take some computer science classes and I might need Windows for that every once in a while. So I’ll probably pick up a better laptop in the future so I can host Windows on Debian because I refuse to dual boot.
Gesundheit.
Damn. I wrote meth and changed it to crack at the last second. I have let my addict heritage down. My father would be disappointed if he wasn’t so high right now. :(
The crack pipe is a wonderful touch.
You can find service manuals online. I found the full blown 1,397 page OEM service manual for my '97 Prelude. For free. And failing that, there’s probably a YouTube video for it, especially if it’s not something incredibly rare.
nm bro, what’s a JAV with u?
My Maytag washing machine has a silly little “America 🇺🇸” sticker on it. It’s so corny. It may have been assembled in the United States, but it’s likely from parts made by Midea in China.
Auto manufacturers have been infamous for this in the past. It’s probably why Monroney stickers tell you the percentage of parts by country of origin. Here it is on the sticker for my Honda Civic.
Tulsa’s new flag is pretty rad.
Not to mention when the court orders you to have regular drug testing done, you’re on the hook for them. And they ain’t exactly cheap, especially for someone making 10 bucks an hour part time.
Must not be American lol I won’t get my W2 for another four weeks.
But I can use mine and my wife’s last pay stubs to get really close.
“How’s your relationship?”
“It’s rocky.”
“Care to elaborate?”
“I mean, it’s really in the shitter.”
God, he sounds insufferable. Sorry you had to deal with that.
Mine was an abusive meth head. Beat and berated my brother, my mother, and me all the way up until CPS took us out when I was 15. I was terrified of men for a long time, and I can still be pretty standoffish with them, even at 32. I can remember being 8 years old, washing dishes. I dropped a glass. It broke. The next thing I knew, I was suspended 3 feet in the air by my neck and being thrown into a wall. For dropping a glass.
I always loved my mother. I was given her phone number recently, but I’ve been hesitant to call. I know she’s with a different man these days and is genuinely happy with him. He’s good to her. She finally left my father after he broke several of her ribs, punctured a lung, and nearly killed her. I know she was always scared he’d kill her if she left, but I suppose that she got so close to it that death didn’t seem like such a bad alternative to the life she had with him.
So yeah, the day he breathes his last will be cause for celebration in my circle.
If my biological father could just go ahead and kick the bucket, the world would be a slightly better place.
Gotta sit next to the feet and start licking your lips. Look em dead in the eyes and go, “those piggies look soooo suckable.”
See how quickly they react. Worst case scenario, they’re a freak AND a slob.
I totally would.

I don’t think many Americans in favor of universal healthcare think it’s going to cost nothing. Of course, taxes will increase. But we already pay for private healthcare. Most of us via a payroll deduction.
But turning the keyboard upside down is how you find the snacks you stored for later!
Sometimes, the best thing they can do is to not say anything. Walz could have said nothing, and pretty well nobody would have been upset about it.
Yep. My '97 uses a dry belt and the change interval is something like 7 years or 100k. I’ve heard of Ford engines dying at 40k because the wet belt lost teeth, and it bent valves or punched holes in pistons or both.
If they’re gonna use a wet belt, they could at least put it in a non-interference engine so it just runs like crap or shuts off when it skips time.
But how else would they sell you a new car every 4 years?
Windows: You got a kernel panic from an update just once this week? I went through two BSODs today!
Mac: It’d happen more often if I actually had software! You get everything!
Arch: While getting updates can cause crashes sometimes, new stuff is fun.
Debian: You guys are getting updates?
