I stopped using the AUR or a helper package manager but does paru even have mirror updating? Usually something like reflector is used for that.

I used this and it “deleted” my comments from my own profile, but I found that the comments usually still exist on whatever posts they were on… So that tool is unfortunately almost worse than doing nothing as now I have no track for what comments actually exist.

You could just configure the default timeout.

You can change the default wait from 90 seconds to something like 5 seconds.

If you’re going to self host I would personally recommend Immich though. I think Ente is great if you do want a cloud provider and no overhead.
