Also I’m curious about Discord, when people say they hang out there, do they just find a channel they like and keep up with the chat all day?
I think so. I’m in a few discords, but don’t really keep up with it. However, people seem to be active in them.
Pulling features out of the core os and into apps is better for users though. Keeps the os lean and updates can roll out to users quicker.

In world rankings US typically ranks dead last in a lot of metrics. Guess who ranks right next to them? That’s basically the problem, we’re so obsessed with the fact that we have it better than the US we aren’t willing to look at other countries and what they do better. As long as we don’t have “US style” healthcare that’s good enough for most people here.
I guess the joke is that someone is using logic and reasoning to figure out what propels a car as though it was some great mystery that needed to be analyzed and thought about. I don’t think it’s very funny and it could have also been your friend’s delivery.
