Now it brings up a lock screen from which you can select additional options. Ctrl+Shift+Esc pulls up the task manager, like it did back when you learned it.

So prior to Win 7 or so, Ctrl+Alt+Del brought up the task manager. Now it brings up a lock screen from which you can select additional options.
