This has nothing to do with immigration and everything to do with intimidation. Immigration is just the excuse here, the message is we can take anyone anywhere even your congressional office. Fall in line or we will come for you.

Lemmy guess, democratic congressman’s office was invaded and excessive use of force was the cherry on top?

Hey, look at that! I was right!

Blocking traffic, as much as it is a pita to drivers, is not rioting. It’s a peaceful protest and well within 1A.

Traffic tickets blur the line between the civil/criminal courts. Especially in my state, where both speeding and the lowest level of assault will put you before the same judge. Since the lowest criminal charges don’t carry potential for jail time, even in the effect they have it’s difficult to tease out their differences.

They used to at least pretend to be furious. We need to demand they go back to at least pretending. This calls for a very strong letter. Someone get me our fearless leaders, Chuck Shumer and Ken Martin. And lets put in a call to AIPAC to get permission to write it.

And human trafficking, depending on what they do after the arrest.

But that doesn’t cover all wrongful arrests. Ive been arrested several times, and every time it was a wrongful arrest. I had to fight it in court and won freedom, but the police who arrested me will never face justice because they didn’t commit a crime. We need to make it criminal.

Assaulting an officer carries more severe consequences though. So keep that in mind when you do, and make sure it’s worth it. If you know what I mean.

Sounds like they are refusing to show ID in a lot of cases (not sure if they refused here), so they are likely private citizens masquerading as officers.

Not even that many. All it takes is a solid majority. That’s of course why they keep us fighting eachother.

You “can” do anything at any time. Consequences still exist tho, especially if you arent a member of the correct group.
