My understanding is that Iran gave several states, including the US and Qatar, advance warning of their attack. Iran expected that none of their missiles would hit their targets.

You would be correct. Its kinda weird and honestly annoying that Iran keeps taking the high road in its conflicts with imperialists. They are just going to keep getting stepped on.

Iran really does not have a choice. They can not seriously attack Israel. Their missile launchers seem to be destroyed and they hit very little. Air force is not an option either. Hamaz is at war already, Hezbollah has been bombed hard and can hardly fight, much less supplied.

They could bomb some US military installations, but best case they kill some Americans.

Blocking the Persian Golf would fail as well and piss of pretty much the rest of the world.

So ending it is a good option.

I mean, Iran wants this to end as soon as possible probably. Their air defenses are decimated and they don’t have enough missiles to really accomplish anything important.

This is going the end the Hezbollah way. Iran took massive losses in their leadership. If they tap out now that Israel is out of interceptors they will go down in the future when Israel keeps doing this again and again.

I agree, although Hezbollah was not as wary of retaliation as Iran has proven to be. I’ve made plenty of arguments in favor of their skittishness but I simply don’t understand anymore.

The only thing I can think of is whether they’re changed their stance on nukes, and use this time to build them.
