well liches have some kind of object their soul travels to after dying, and their body is reformed close to that object. he was some kind of magic user, since he could cure people’s blindness and summon hordes of fish, but i’m not sure he would be a necromancer since he doesn’t really summon undead or anything.
since he came back to his dead body, i think he’d be more like a sentient zombie than any other undead. or he could just be some kind of astral creature that dies and takes a few days to come back to life. idk
