The joke was that their IQ is the same number as room temperature.

    • Fahrenheit- 70-ish. Low-average IQ
    • Centigrade- 20-ish. This would be the lowest IQ ever recorded on someone able to take the test. A result this low would bring into question the ethics of having administered the test in the first place.
    • Kelvin- 300-ish. Either the smartest person in the entire world or took the test multiple times and added up all their scores.

I really appreciate you trying to keep me from falling into the trappings of “pound of feathers or pound of steel,” but I wanna make sure you’re in on the joke that I’m essentially asking “are you calling them normal stupid or the dumbest person ever.”

Either way, IQ tests are inherently biased and don’t directly measure intelligence, so the whole thing is moot, but for the chuckle.

It’s usually LESS funny when you have to explain the joke, somehow this is the opposite

Thanks, you made me lol. Well, chuckle out loud. Good enough.
