Protests against Nepal’s short-lived ban on social media grew increasingly violent as demonstrators set government buildings and politicians’ homes on fire and attacked some leaders.

Well, youth unemployment rates are roughly twice as bad in Nepal with a lower standard of living, so not really a direct comparison. It would be nice to see more conviction from my fellow Americans though.
