Was a bit surprised a few discord servers I was on was trying to spin it like this was something the left always does and gets away with. When i asked for them to give a source to that they freaked out and tried to get a mod to ban me. Good times.
Yeah, there’s a rotating cast of grifters that are making the world worse but aren’t really individually important in the larger fascist project. And political shootings are almost entirely from the right. The last political shooting from the left I can think of is the congressional baseball shooting nearly a decade ago.

They made Babbit a matyr, and she rushed Capitol police during a violet mob attack on Congress, through a barricade, while cops shouted for her to stop. The cop that killed her fired a single, controlled shot. He was not firing wildly or with malice. She was ex military, and should have realized what guns drawn and warnings about deadly force meant. Bystanders next to her admitted to hearing the police warning her as she breached the barricades, but she did it anyway.
Her mother just got a 5 million dollar settlement from the government and she got a full military burial with honors.
They don’t need an actual reason for a martyr. They will invent reasons after the fact regardless of what happens.
IF we ever regain control, we should forcibly take back the money, and dump her body on their front lawn.

My local news reported that a black clad figure was seen running across a rooftop immediately following the shooting so they’re trying to ID who it was. It’s the same rooftop where there have already been reports the shot likely came from. I forget the name of the building though.
There’s a video from before of someone being like “there’s a person up there, huh”
I guess they need the bullet to lodge in something solid to trace a path backwards.
I gotta imagine with all the videos it’s possible. They’d have a rough trajectory through the neck and video of exactly how he was sitting.
I’d be interested to know if they plan anything else.
