The problem a lot of people seem to have with this conflict is they want it to be very simple, Palestine existing in a vacuum where they’re just trying to live normal lives… That’s not really the ground reality, it’s a nexus of complex bullshit with crazy influences from all sides and centuries long power struggles.
It sucks for people living there but it’s not a reality we can hand wave away
They’re a violent resistance group. Doesn’t mean they wanna continue fighting indefinitely. Not defending the murder of civilians, but the implication that they don’t want peace is wrong.

Did Israel stop destroying Palestinian homes after 2014?
Did the ceasefire include lifting the blockade? If no then it’s meaningless.
