Vice President JD Vance on Monday jumped onto the conservative movement demanding consequences for those who have cheered Charlie Kirk’s killing, calling on the public to turn in anyone who says distasteful things about the assassination of his friend and political ally.

“When you see someone celebrating Charlie’s murder, call them out,” Vance urged listeners on the slain activist’s podcast Monday. “And hell, call their employer.”

Vance’s call also included a vow to target some of the biggest funders of liberal causes as conservatives stepped up their targeting of private individuals for their comments about the killing. It marked an escalation in a campaign that some warned invoked some of the darkest chapters of American history.

“The government involvement in this does inch this closer to looking like McCarthyism,” said Adam Goldstein of the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, referring to the 1950s campaign to root out communists that led to false allegations and ruined careers. “It was not a shining moment for free expression.”

For the Americans it’s bye bye 1st Amendment. Land of the free is no more. This will spark world wide control of free speech, all world’s wannabe dictators will do the same if not worst. Welcome to new world order where “big” and “strong” dictators will rule without any checks. This is The “third crisis” in modern world.

Any part of the Constitution at this point that has to do with rights or liberties, except the 2nd Amendment (for now) of course, is pretty much out the window. The Constitution is just an inconvenient old piece of paper at this point. All those “Constitutionalists” have gone completely silent.

It’s “The Land of the Formerly Free” for quite some time already. If you thought this is changing just now, you overslept for a few decades.

    My response:

    Republicans support pedophiles.

Fuck Trump and JD Vance and all the other cronies.

ICE are a bunch of gravy seals.

I am more than fine with Charlie Kirk being dead.

    IT’S TIME TO RETALIATE.

For every non-fascist they get fired, we need to get 10 fascists fired.

Saying good riddance to fascists isn’t “distasteful;” it’s a moral imperative. J.D. Vance’s words are obscene.

This is not “inch[ing] closer” to McCarthyism; this is taking a flying leap towards it. They are openly calling for war against all non-fascists. Believe them. They are coming to destroy us all, and we have to defend ourselves.

They have to LOSE and it has to happen by any means necessary.

Obviously the first step is an equal doxxing site targeting Truth Social, etc.

Pretty soon all that will be left are the apathetic centrists.

My brother got mad when I called Kirk an asshole after he text me with the “sad news”

The conversation with my brother via text.

Him: Charlie Kirk was killed today …sad

Me: Not how I see it.

Him He had a family he had two children

Me: Idc he was an asshole who said gay people should get the death plenty. I don’t want talk about it. You forgot I am not rightwinger.

Him I feel sorry for you

Me Don’t your the one following hate mongers. It has to be exhausting. Wishing death on people is very unchristian. You should know that.

He didn’t respond anymore after that. Hopefully he doesn’t try to get me canceled. It’s unfortunate that my brother got suck into the Maga movement by our father. (He was always sensitive and easy to manipulate) But he isn’t a vindictive person so I should be fine. But my dad I just hope you didn’t tell him my feelings.

To be fair, I’m pretty mad at what you said, too. Specifically, I’m upset that you weren’t explicit and emphatic enough in expressing contempt for Kirk and satisfaction at his demise.

Your brother and your dad both deserve to be berated incessantly for their hatefulness. You’re worried about retaliation from them? They ought to be worried about retaliation from you!

Sorry I hate my dad, but sadly I love my brother even though he is misguided. Again he is easily manipulatied. If I could get him alone for week and have his Tik Tok algorithm turned to the left, I could turn him into a socialist in no time.

But unfortunately he spends more time around our father and watch Faux news and I seen his Tik Tok feed its bad.

She is a heroine addict with borderline personality disorder and she’s super verbally abusive to her boyfriend, has even had him arrested by goading him into saying something which she recorded and shared with the cops and they are still together like 8 years in. Anyone that’s still in her sphere is pretty much bullet proof at this point. Oh and she owns her home because she previously made good money as director of a sober living nonprofit (no joke, you can’t make this shit up) and get boyfriend pays her mortgage. She’s a psycho with nothing to lose.

Expected behavior. Cancel culture is bad and people should not be fired for their views. But if you don’t align with my beliefs we will find you and get you fired. Listen to what they say they stand for and you will know exactly their belief. It is always the opposite of what they say.

Ironically Charlie Kirk wouldn’t have even supported this.

I hate the guy and am glad he’s gone, but the last thing that guy wanted to do was affect free speech. That was his meal ticket.

I mean I agree he was Nazi scum.

But his whole schtick was generating anger in front of live audiences. They eat it up.

So I disagree. Kirk was a piece of shit but I don’t recall him ever calling foul on someone saying something mean.

Without people able to walk up to him and debate freely, he wouldn’t get his entire schtick.

            TIL

My stance is with regard to his debates being far more in good faith than the likes of Shapiro, Peterson, or any other alleged 1st amendment defending debaters.

I do not support most any of his stances but the right to open public discourse.

But if there’s evidence to the contrary im not here to defend it. Just stating my experience with his brand/id

And that stance is silly, the whole point of his debates is so they can get edited into misleading “best ofs” and the like. It’s the same shit Shapiro and Peterson do

Correct. They do not happen at all without free speech. That is my point which you’ve clearly missed.
