once youve strained it a whole can of creamed corn gives you barely a third of a cup why isnt anyone talking about this
i think it has to do with government corn subsidies
edit you people arent getting it so ive created a diagram
look at all that blue thats wasted space between the creamed corns and it takes up over half the can
I have personally never opened a can of creamed corn, so this whole post is new information for me. The chips thing though…that was solved decades ago. Not sure why the confusion persists.
a can doesnt need cushion liquid because cans are hard but cans of creamed corn are mostly liquid and i think its a scam
Why are you straining it? It’s like saying your bottle of fresh orange juice has hardly any pulp after you strain it.
what the fuck are you talking about
Buying creamed corn and straining it to get corn is like buying salsa and straining it to get diced tomatoes
i want the creamed corns but i just dont want all that liquid
You need to get back in the shower to practice thinking.
Maybe creamed corn is different where you are, but the creamed part is a sauce that goes with the corn. It’s meant to be eaten with the corn and not supposed to be discarded, so I don’t know why you’re straining it.
