I keep seeing Republicans saying some version of “he said some very nasty things about Charlie Kirk” and failing to elaborate at all on that. I watch the clips. He didnt says a fucking thing about Charlie Kirk. He criticized Trump and his reaction to the shooting, but did not say a negative thing about Charlie himself. So what exactly is he meant to apologize to his family for? Mentioning it?

I’d like someone to ask Taco and other idiots repeating that lie - “what was so offensive? Be as specific as possible in your answer”

      And watch the meltdown.

Taco has mostly surrounded himself with asskissing dumbfucks who give him nothing but soft-jobs at every opportunity. So he’s rarely confronted with any real acts of journalism, but every once in a while one sneaks in there like that guy in the UK.

But certainly every other doofus trying to pull this shit in front of cameras where there are people that still think they are doing journalism - they should drill deeper on that.

Here’s my tribute: a lesson from Matthew 25 verses 42 to 46 (KJV since the fundies love it so much despite its errors):

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

      I like Matthew 7

Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite! First take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye…

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.

      Or Matthew 22:34-40

But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

Also Matthew 6:14-16: “14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” (NIV)

I know it isn’t Biblically supported, but I always thought it would be incredibly poetic if we were asked to pass final judgement on people who had harmed us, only to find out afterwards that we were actually passing judgement on ourselves for our own actions. Makes me wonder how many people would condemn others for their own actions?

This would be a very literally implementation of Matthew 12:36-37: " 36 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” (NIV)

Republicans are happier that he died than liberals are. They’ll be playing the victims while making our society objectively shittier for years to come using this as the excuse.

This a perfect opportunity for Kimmel to show a tribute of all the racist and bigoted things that Kirk said over the years.

They took his jerb for doing his jerb

Next week’s South Park is going to be nuts.

I hope they literally double down and do an hour long episode.

Matt and Trey are literal billionaires and actual free speech absolutionists, there’s no way they moved back a week to tone it down, they’d only move an episode back to throw more into it.

I haven’t heard any of Trump’s takes on the first couple of this season. Most of the Trump news doesn’t reach us in Europe. But I wonder how far South Park can go before Trump blows a fuse.
