    I thought they had already learned the hard way, this blows my mind. What are the chances that the South Korean government forced their hand instead of Hyundai making the decision here to back out?

      I mean, I don’t find it that hard to believe that a multi-billion dollar for profit automaker wasn’t actually that upset about their workers being manhandled and is willing to pay protection money to an authoritarian stooge. Idk about Hyundai specifically, but companies like them used sweatshops in countries under dictatorships before and did business in pretty much this same way.
