That’s how social media gives impression that there is more hard right people.

Unfortunately it also amplifies the existing ones, because makes them think they are the majority.

      social media

Hell, PBS news last night kicked off with coverage of Kirk’s memorial service, which they described as having a “massive” turnout. Interesting that they never used the word “massive” to describe the recent anti-MAGA protests.

Pbs has gotten bad lately. One of their correspondents just endorsed the lie about command and control from gazan hospitals, he saw it first hand. Then they allow some Unapologetic is real hack to come on and lie about what they are doing with no pushback. Then stuff like this. I do not know if I can even watch them anymore if they are going to just give up and run with the party line.

I sometimes describe the PBS News Hour as “Fox News aimed at old white liberals”. I’ve been trying to wean my parents (old white liberals) off of it, but they go all the way back to the days of The MacNeil/Lehrer report and they just can’t accept that it’s become something entirely different decades later. The sad thing is that watching it every night leaves them suicidally depressed but they can’t stop themselves.

That’s how I would describe CNN.

I haven’t watched to much this week, but the issues with Charlie Kirk have extended to every news platform. Earlier this year, they were pretty good about their reporting on Palestine which leads me to believe this is an issue with that particular host.

Compared to the rest they were doing a decent job in many respects but it seems to me like they just gave up and surrendered any sort of journalistic Integrity just this last week. I understand they might have to bring out a pro-israel person, but not one pushing through such blatant fall cities with the interviewer nodding along and agreeing with everything they say. I got to find the name of that interviewer so I can let other people know how much of a piece of shit he is.

Tbf the memorial filled the stadium and people had to go into a prepped overflow space. Objectively speaking, that’s a good amount of folks.

NPR used terms like “flooding the streets” and “5 million people” to describe the anti maga protests, which should scratch the itch?

What articles are you referring to that don’t cover the protests to your satisfaction?

If you’re going to go after public broadcasting, which just lost all of its federal funding, I hope you have receipts.
