Why do you keep talking about writing? The discussion is about jewelry. What does their jewelry have to do with raping and enslaving people? Same thing wearing a swastika has to do with gassing 6 million people and trying to conquer europe
not quite. you seem to be able to distinguish the american culture from gun violence in schools, rightfully saying that you’d have to wear a necklace shaped like a gun for it to be a condonation of gun violence. But you don’t make that distinction when it comes to norse culture and raping and enslaving people. And no, it’s not the same thing as swastikas, as swastikas were appropriated by the nazis, also nazis are not a culture. It would be like saying that wearing anything pertaining to the German culture makes you a Holocaust apologist.
Nazis were the entirety of German culture for 12 years, and you don’t see very many people wearing anything pertaining to German culture during that period except for holocaust apologists.
No more so than any other military force of the same era. Are you going to boycott ren fairies for the same reason? Sometimes people just like to dress up in traditional jewelry because it looks pretty.
Fair enough I guess, but when you’re competing with actual Nazis for that jewelry maybe it’s time to take a moment and reconsider who you’re dressing like.
Without the fascist connection you’re still glorifying a culture of raping and pillaging innocent villagers
by learning American English I am glorifying gun violence in schools, got it
The person I replied to was talking about jewelry. Are you wearing a necklace with ar-15 and screaming child pendants on it?
The American equivalent here would be wearing a necklace decipting a bald eagle or some symbol prevalent in American culture.

and right now the entirety of American culture is Trump-flavored technocratic fascism. I think I’m done arguing with you
Then don’t wear a maga hat
You understand that there is a difference between a violent political movement and an entire culture, right?

Which is why I don’t wear my silver mjølner pendant. It still pisses me off though.
Yeah, let’s just boil down an entire civilization to a single aspect of it.
Strong “Mussolini made the trains run on time” vibes coming from you right now.
