Intelligence agencies are really just expensive and highly secretive matchmakers.

And I bet most AI stans are totally willing to sell out just about anyone or anything for a qt3.14 Asian gf.

On the flip side, what if he assumes that she’s just in it for the espionage, but she really just likes him.

She works in medical informatics in a building next to his in the same office park. She sees him occasionally through her window as he unknowingly eats his lunch on the garden bench in front of it a couple times per month. She’s tried going out there for lunch, too, but he’s usually intently focused on something else.

One day, on the bench at lunch, he reacts to his phone, types something out quickly, and rushes off. His ear buds fall out of his pocket as he goes. She runs outside and picks them up, but he’s gone. She plans to bring them to him the next time she sees him out there. Then she gets an email; her company is relocating to the next town over. Not knowing if she’ll see him again, she waits outside his building after work. She intends to just give him the headphones, but in the course of normal pleasantries, he mentions that he’s working on an LLM.

Currently, the main project she’s working on is figuring how to securely use LLMs to assist disabled patients with interpreting their their medical records. AI isn’t her area of expertise, but she knows enough to ask questions that keep the conversation going. He seems pretty responsive, and she impulsively blurts out, “Do you want to go have drinks with me?” He agrees. They have a great time and plan to meet again soon.

She was a freak. She had this weird kink for me screaming my managers’ names and addresses when I came. I never thought someone could be so into my work.

I work for a company in the AI industry. All staff gets endless emailed business propositions for short term “consulting” work or paid “surveys”. It’s so transparent.

Our company is currently under multiple social hacking attempts. People pretending to be C-suite calling staff members on their personal phones, sending emails, asking things like, “Hey I forgot the zoom link” like bro, we don’t use zoom.

My first date after getting divorced was with a woman who didn’t have a profile picture “to keep her work life separate” and described her job as “analyst at the state department.”

We went on two dates and I’m pretty sure she cloned my phone in the Udvar-Hazy Center.

in the military, i was told the ladies were not interested in my hair cut, but because of my hair cut.

  • Um… nah can we not do this pls…

I don’t think OP has bad intentions, but this is too much of “hey be careful of these evil Chinese, they could be spies” and this is dangerously bordering on racism.

For Context: I’m a dude, but I was born in China and immigrated to the US as a kid, I do not support the PRC government at all and posts like these are kinda making me uncomfortable.

Yes I know the intent is supposed to be “pretty girl = foreign spy”, but like… idk… specifically using the “Chinese” as an adjective that implies being a spy just make me feel very uncomfortable.

because there have been a number of high profile examples recently

i mean this shit always happens but because of ai it happens to be lots of Chinese women

it’s so bad they had to reiterate an already blanket ban of relations while over there for work

and plenty of people mocking the whole trump family doing this shit with Russia as well so it’s not even just China

I figured this was more current events than racism related. Currently the biggest competitors to American AI companies are Chinese AI companies, with models like DeepSeek that people presume were back-engineered versions of American models.
