In a set of fascistic speeches on Thursday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, White House power broker Stephen Miller, and other top Trump administration officials labelled the political left as a “terrorist” threat and vowed to use all of the tools at their disposal to systematically destroy left-wing groups. Representatives from 67 countries gathered in the U.S. on Thursday for a meeting…

I don’t know what I hate more, that these pricks with fingers feel validated enough to be openly stating this kind of shit, or that there is nobody that is in earshot this verbal diarrhea that puts him on the spot over it. Especially in the broader republican side at large. Just letting this happen because it’s “your guy” is some weak shit.

Has the US forgotten already that Hitler looked at the US race laws with admiration in Mein Kampf?

This isn’t new. This cancer has never been excised, just bandaged over because it became inconvenient to capitalist interests at the time.

As far as I can see, this shift back towards fascism in the US is the response to the rise of China as an economic and military power.

Some of this rise is attributable to the decline of favour of fossil fuels, and China’s position as market leader in solar and wind generation technology. This is why Trump has a hate for renewable energy, and such a throbbing micro-peen for oil. The US is being left behind, fast.

Forgotten? Most schools here probably don’t even teach that. I would bet that most Americans are not at all aware of this fact.

Many Americans probably think they liberated the entirety of Europe during WW2 with a little help from the British and Canadians.

[Nervous laughter remembering my history class textbooks…and the History Channel specials…and appreciating how games like Medal of Honor and Call of Duty showcased many other countries’ contributions to the effort I was never even aware of]

            Heh. Heh? :3 lol

I remember really liking, I think it was Call of Duty 4 (?) as a kid because the main character was a Soviet soldier, and it was such a fresh perspective for that kind of game.

Are we thinking of World at War maybe? The one where you were a sniper stealthily sneaking through the Red Square with a Mosin Nagant?

That game was amazing. Along with Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, I’ve played it through multiple times.

MoH:AA also featured a brief stint as the Soviets, too.

Both also made sure we knew the PPSH “pe-peh-sheh” is one of the coolest SMGs ever made. :D

I remember Call of Duty 3 on the Wii had a section where you played as a Polish tank crew!

Yeah I think it was World at War. MoH games were cool too, but back then before online, CoD single player games were so much more cinematic

I think until I see real Americans taking to the streets on mass, all Americans are spineless cowards.

This pisses me off beyond all reason.

EDITS: Lol I kept remembering more and more empty platitudes every few seconds…

“Rah rah, sheepdog. Rah rah the fedz are comin. Rabble rabble Ruby Ridge and Waco. Rah rah learn mixed unit tactics to take on the glowies. Muh gunz protec muh free speech. Live free or die. Molon Labe. 1776 no step on snek! Remember the rooftop Koreans! It’s our Constitutional right to open carry at protests! The feds are planning death camps for dissenters! An armed society is a polite society! When tyranny becomes law rebellion becomes duty!”

[Armed gangs of LARPing fatasses in Walmart gear and balaclavas start killing Americans in the streets and dragging citizens into unmarked vans to take to blacksites on foreign soil without due process of any kind.]

            “WeLL, tHeY’rE LaW eNfOrCeMeNt ThO…tHeY aRrEsT cRiMiNaLs. . .”

            [crickets]

            “…Wut?”

For the record, they were mostly right about all that stuff, on the surface.

But when it comes time to show that American spirit and “nut up or shut up” …they choose to shut up.

…Or they actively goosestep in line with a pedo-billionaire mass murdering megalomanic nazi who’s robbing them and selling them out by the day. . . because that makes sense.

As an American, you are somewhat right. But there is massive swaths of people who are not even looking or self reflecting at all. Not because they choose to, but because they hear the word government and run. Most are super short sighted. It isn’t fear they drives thier actions, it’s that they are currently not in danger in thier minds. They will get a rude wake up call, but know there are pleanty of people who will gladly do harm to evil people, but I implore you to understand that physical distance to evil is a huge factor slowing rebellion.

Especially in the broader republican side at large.

The entire party are fascists. Simple as that.

If you don’t stand up to fascism in your own party, you are also a fascist.

If this country had its shit together we’d end the Republican party here and now. There’s no room for a fascist party in any functional nation.
