It’s amazing to think that the work these people created over 50 years ago has had such a lasting impact. What an amazing legacy.
He did the Cage and The Menagerie. I liked his episodes on Columbo (double shock and publish or perish).
The bulk of “The Menagerie” was Marc Daniels, but obviously the footage from “The Cage” was Butler’s.
Those two episodes still gave us the character of Christopher Pike which gave us Strange New Worlds so I will mourn this man.
