They’re all the problem. Valve is a scummy company. Not sure why they get praise for their shady business practices and bloated shitware launcher that constantly wants to run in the background and do updates. They’ve normalized the concept of launchers, done what they can to stifle competition, contributed to the idea of loot boxes. They’re pretty much shitty in their entirety, which is easy to see once you get Gaben’s nuts out of your eyes.
I enjoy playing games. I don’t enjoy capitalism, big greedy corporations like Valve, or rich greedy fucks like Gabe.
