That makes no sense. Isn’t the reason for keeping trans women out of the ladies room supposed to be that they are men and pose a threat to “real” women? If MTG thinks she can take a trans woman in a fight that kind of goes against her case…

Nah, after 2 years hrt the physical differences are miniscule.
Even if you trained relentlessly to preserve your original tone - lean muscle mass, fat distribution, bone density and skin thickness are all tied to your sex hormones and your cells are constantly being replaced. The oldest a muscle cell (exempting heart cells) gets is like 15 years with the average being more like 10. The good senator has been on HRT for over a decade. There’s not any even negligible physiological advantage of experienced testosterone puberty left.
Like anything trained skill and age is more important a factor. Unless either is a trained martial artist the advantage most at play would be that McBride is like 20 years younger. Greene does however give the impression like she has punched out a few people over low cost electronics at Black Friday events so I dunno.

This is a threat without any risk to MTG. If she does it and beats McBride up, she’ll be a hero to her base and will get pardoned if she catches a charge. If she does it and McBride fights back, her narrative will become “violent trans people” and “a man dressing as a woman beat up a congressperson.” Saying things like this are 100% wins to the psychopath party and their base, and I’m ashamed to share this country with them.

McBride wins: MTG is humiliated and while complaining that “she’s really a man” — that will only resonate with people who already agree with MTG. Possibly the goal is to get McBride charged with assault?
Spot on. There’s no winning for McBride here; if she does kick MTG’s ass, then that’s all the more reason for Republicans to go after “men” in women’s sports.
