Yeah I was waiting for someone to call this out.
I think there are specific machines that can scan even with large electronics inside bags. Not all airports have them, just as not all terminals nor security lines have them.
Pretty sure that YT account was faked, or mis-related to Mangione
By those ideals, prisoners should also have the right to vote.
You are a mindless zombies.
Please tell me you’re not trolling, and have an actual working brain to understand your idiocy.
You are correct when it comes to both parties representing billionaires and both parties supporting genocides abroad.

Not all jobs are equal: not in pay, not in proximity to the people who actually carry out the orders of Leadership, not in consequences, not in collaboration with others.
For example, Biden has the authority to stop the transfer of arms to Israel, even after Congress has approved of it. That decision would have much greater impacts on Israel’s ability to carry out their genocide on the Palestinian people.
A McDonald’s manager has no say in weather those arms make it to Israel or not.
Different positions call for different levels of ethical consideration. Maybe the United Healthcare CEO should have considered ethics and morals more when he decided to prioritize profit over human lives.
Consequently, you could also make the same diagnosis for Biden because this whole Israel thing is nuking his legacy.
How’s Proton Pass? Seems like I can’t download BitWarden from Fdroid, although I imagine there’s an .apk somewhere online
Ah is a measure of Coulombs or charge (A × h = C/s × hr × 3600s/hr = C). Wh is a measure of Joules or energy (W × h = J/s × hr × 3600s/hr = J).
As an electrical engineer, personally Joules would make sense in an idealistic way to describe how much energy batteries store because that’s what they do, but the whole Ah/Wh framework simplifies calculations and makes it so you only really need to multiply, never divide.
I never really understood the focus on Amps as your primary unit to describe load on a system. It seems like NASA used to describe things this way when designing rockets/spaceships/landers for outer space/Moon missions. I remember listening to a podcast where NASA would budget their systems in terms of Amps, where you only had so much overhead in Amps.
Growing up as an EE in school and industry, Watts (and Volt-Amperes) is obviously the primary choice of metric, whether working in DC or AC.
So yeah I agree with you lol
The great Reddit migration when 3rd party devs realized how much Reddit would charge them to use Reddit’s API in order to serve information to their apps. RiF was my shit.
I love Lemmy now though. Its federated nature, while abnormal and at times not the easiest to explain, has me hopeful for the cyberspace future that isn’t fully dictated by corporations. Using Fdroid, getting over the hump from Chrome to Firefox, and now the prospects of switching entire OSs from Windows to Linux are within my visibility now, when before I was comfortable in my corporate bubble.
Think the next thing I need to start taking strides on after Linux is privacy. I still keep my passwords locked under OneDrive Vault and a password protected OneNote. Should probably dump that and move over to keypass or some other password manager. I just don’t want to have to pay for a service right now on a recurring basis unless I choose to to support the devs.
NewPipe, Seal, Spotube, AntennaPod basically
Edit: FireFox, uBlock Origin
I have my own irrigation bulb and had to do this the other week when my earwax was basically blocking my ability to hear at all. Think I got soap or water in my eyes before that to cause the issue.
I loved the superhuman hearing afterwards though, god haha
Might the West have had a hand in that instability? Why not mention the Ottoman Empire in this context? A recent period of general stability and peace in the region?
Or is this just copium?
Someone can be democratically elected, yet then act to undermine those same democratic processes that got them there.
Netanyahu continues his ruthless conquest against Palestinians and Lebanese despite how unpopular it is with Israelis. He knows that he won’t get re-elected, and when he doesn’t he’ll have to face the consequences of his actions in international court.
All you’re doing with your comment is aiding and abetting a fascist, apartheid, genocidal regime. Get real.
Hoping Aptera takes off tbh
Usually vegans use the term carnist to represent those who engage in animal products full stop, rather than breaking down the difference into carnivore and omnivore.
To us vegans, whether you’re carnivore or omnivore results in the same outcomes. Plus, many conversations surrounding veganism don’t necessarily involve diets, such as with clothing, in which case again it’s easier to use a single term to describe everything non-vegan.
You might say that non-vegans is a good enough term to describe the above, but that kind of framing can paint carnists in a more benevolent light that acknowledges their freedom of choice, rather than framing carnists with regards to the outcomes they cause, and the victims that suffer because of them.
Same. And sometimes if it’s convenient, I’ll keep my recyclables like paper, cans, and glass until I have access to a sink to clean then (glass, maybe cans) and can toss them in my recycling system at home.
Fyi, make sure your recyclables are dry before dropping them off/having them picked up
Yep that’s me!
